Subterranean Structures

Strong silhouettes that will make you feel as powerful as you look

A crisp white shirt never reaches a point of complete irrelevance. It is perhaps, one of few items that you should be buying over and over again, in order to subtly update your wardrobe. But it’s also prudent to be investing in a structured corset. They’re currently on trend, and take you from summer to winter once you layer one over the top of one of the many crisp white shirts you should have. But the black and white tones will ensure the style won’t date as quickly – if at all.

We’re still also still firmly embracing all that is sheer and structured. Confuse the feminine/masculine binary by pairing a sheer skirt with a strong shirt and jacket – there’s never been a better time to challenge gender when it comes to clothes, after all. The old lines between what is “mens” and what is “womens” are becoming ever more mercurial, so take advantage of these blurred lines when it comes to putting together your winter wardrobe. Complete the look with air-dried, relaxed hair and minimal makeup to send the message that you care – but not enough to pick up a hairdryer, and when you look this good, why would you?
