Walk It Back
Step outside seasonal expectations and experiment with form
Shifting seasons means clearing out the wardrobe and starting to think about reintroducing coats, jumpers, trousers and boots. The weather is (slowly) starting to become more crisp, allowing us to imagine our lives bundled up in a delicious cashmere sweater as we sip our morning coffees and don’t regret not getting a cold brew. The tones of this season are dominated by neutrals – brown, cream and blue hues. Layering isn’t going anywhere, so pairing summer styles, such as cinched crop tops, over crisp white shirts are a-go. Clashing textures remain relevant, with the chic elite opting to get creative with their wardrobes. It’s an exciting time to be moving into winter, and to be taking risks with styles such as the white boot making a comeback. It’s risky business, but be bold and step outside of the norm this autumn.
